After sharpening our knives on the South West UK food scene, winning numerous awards and accolades in food quality and ethical matters we decided to take a step back and head out to the wild in search of something different.
Given time and attention, fire is a way to tease unique flavours from all kinds of ingredients. At once both gentle and fierce, a fire adds smoke and flame and passion to the food. To pair with this, we realised that foraged food was an ideal partner. There are unique flavours and aromas to be found, and it can be a basic-but-sophisticated bank of ingredients and methods.
All our meats are free-range and sourced from butchers and farms we know and trust. Our seafood is from sustainable UK waters. Our fruits and vegetables are from local growers where possible. Our wild ingredients are foraged responsibly, by us, from our farm in Cornwall.
HoneyWoods invites you to a spring camping weekend to celebrate all things tasty and outdoors. This is a simple weekend of relaxing, learning about the countryside, community and food, wild camping, eating and exploring. Expect secret forest school, archery, kayaking, food workshops, bushcraft, wild swimming and a huge communal feast. Join us in the woods!
